Andrea Illescas is an accomplished producer/director who has made a huge variety of factual documentaries for BBC History and Arts over the last 15 years. Her films have taken her to all the corners of the world to bring back compelling stories and beautiful images. She has worked with a wide range of presenting talent, from first time presenters to prime-time newsreaders, and has extensive experience directing CGI sequences. Andrea has directed and produced successful and critically acclaimed series including “The Normans”, “Around the World in Eighty Treasures” (shown in over 30 countries), “On Hannibal’s trail”, “Francesco´s Italy: Top to Toe”, “Sex and the Church” and The Culture Show among others.
